Lived and Lost

Zokura Kageyuki, of the Grim Wolf Clan within the hidden Mist Village, has lived a long and unfortunate life. His clan has been cursed by the spirit of the wolf since before the age of samurai. Every hundred years a child is born with the power of the wolf and immortality. And it is this immortality that comes to an unfortunate price, in order for his soul to maintain its lifespan, the spirit of the wolf needs to feed off of its own bloodline. Zokura Kageyuki fought the urges from a very young age, but the blood lust is a very hard thing to reject. Zokura was forced into killing his own family (Aside from his mother) because of this blood lust, and has since left the hidden mist village to escape anymore pain he may cause his family. Since leaving, Zokura has learned a way of curing his immortality: Drink the Blood of The 6 Winged Jinchurikis. He has made it his quest to find all twelve and drink their blood in the hopes to regain his mortal body and finally die a mortal death. But this quest has become halted, as he learned of the first Winged Jinchuriki and sought out for her blood he caught himself in a web he had not intended to weave. The Winged Spirits must first be awakened within the Jinchurikis before he can feast on their blood, the first child he had encountered that held onto this power had no idea what she was until Zokura returned to the hidden Mist Village and recreated a new life for her. Zokura, under the guise of a Sensei at the newly created Ninja Academy within the Mist, took the girl in and began to be her teacher. All the while holding is secret for her blood to himself, he eventually told her about The Winged Jinchuriki that nested within her body. This explained the reasons why she had been alienated from the rest of the class and why she alone was Zokura's student. She agreed to go away with him to find a way to break free from the beast within, but little did she know that what he was truly after is to awaken it within her. They began their search, and their team grew larger along the way, picking friends and rivals alike. Zokura Kageyuki knows now that despite his possible feelings for his new found friends that he will one day have no choice but to break it all apart. 

The only question is, will Zokura have what it takes to kill his student he has created such a bond with?
